Arthur W. Darnell (Former Speak Easy Singles Member)
Arthur W. Darnell, 68, of
South Charleston passed away Thursday, March 3, 2005, at his
residence. Originally from Clendenin, Arthur shared his time between South Charleston and Summersville. He was retired from the West Virginia Department of Highways. He is survived by his significant other, Teresa Tripplet; daughters, Alison Beckett of Texas, Sharon Walker of Florida and Tammy Darnell of Colorado; five grandchildren; and a brother, Stephen Shamblin of Hurricane. A public service to honor the life of Arthur W. Darnell will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 12, at Snodgrass Funeral Home. Family and friends will then go to the South Charleston Community Center to visit. Snodgrass Funeral Home, MacCorkle Avenue, South Charleston, is in charge of arrangements. |
