PARKER
Mrs. Linda
K. Parker, 49, of Eleanor, W.Va., went home to be with the Lord
Nov. 9, 2003.
Mrs. Parker was an elementary school teacher in Putnam County;
member of the Kanawha Trail Club and the NEA/WVEA. She was also
a member of First Presbyterian Church of Nitro, where she was an
elder, Sunday school teacher, God's Kids leader and Long Range
Steering Committee member. Linda was also an avid
reader and toll painter.
She is survived by her husband, Roger Curtis Hardway; son, Ravi
Daniel Parker at home; mother Mrs. Betty Jane Osborne Skidmore
of Hometown, W.Va.; stepdaughter, Kelley and husband, Alan
Mannon of Chesapeake; stepson, Jim and wife, Lee Ann, Parker of
Chesapeake; brother, Danny Skidmore of Hometown; uncles, Bob and
wife, Jean "Donna" Osborne of Wallback, W.Va., and Douglas, and
wife, Janet Osborne of Bickmore;
aunts, Jewell Stalnaker of Newport News, Va., and Martha and
husband,
Simpson Neal of Bickmore.
She is also survived by other relatives and a host of many
friends.
Services will be 5 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 12, 2003, at First
Presbyterian Church in Nitro with the Rev. Ed Thompson,
the Rev. Cliff Suther
