James
Kenneth Tustin, 55, of Cross Lanes died Dec. 21, 2004, of brain
cancer at home, in the comfort of his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Earl Jacob and Edith
Mae Tustin.
He is survived by three sisters, caregiver, Hazel Earlene
Beckner and husband, John, of Charleston, Hilda “Heidi”
Jongquist and husband, Dennis, of Jacksonville, Fla., Joni
Hoffman and husband, Irving, of Duck; and three brothers,
Lindsay Tustin of Gloucester, Va., Roy Tustin and wife, Barbara,
of Orlando, Fla., and Joseph Tustin. Also surviving
are three nephews, four nieces, two great-nieces, and one
great-nephew.
Jim was a U.S. Air Force veteran of the Vietnam conflict and was
employed at Parkline Inc. for 28 years. He enjoyed golfing,
traveling, playing volleyball, and shag dancing. He will be
deeply missed by his Parkline family and many great
friends.
Special thanks to Sam Seaton, Gary and Debbie Loudermilk, Brenda
McDavid, Angie Martin, Ron Dawson, and Terry White, who were a
great comfort to JT and his family during this time.
In keeping with Jim's wishes, his body will be cremated.
Though there will be no service, a celebration of his life will
be held at a later date for family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations in Jim's name
be made to Kanawha Hospice Care, 1143 Dunbar Ave., Dunbar, WV
25064.
