Jerry L. Hash, 71, of Elkview, passed away Friday, September 28, 2018, at CAMC Memorial Hospital, Charleston.

He was a graduate of Herbert Hoover High School. He liked fishing, turkey hunting, and spending time with his two adored dogs, Lulu and Daisy. Jerry enjoyed traveling and has visited many places around the world. He was a beloved friend and business owner of Hash Insurance Agency where he helped and assisted many families in the community.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Inez Hash.

Jerry is survived by his son, William G. (Jodi) Hash; cousins, Alice (Fred) Starr of Elkview, Matthew Starr and son Hunter, Kara (Jeremy) King of Amma, Kimberlyn Starr of Elkview; grandchildren, Logan and Caylee; best friend, Dave Mason; and companion Mary A. Myers.

 

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Kanawha Charleston Humane Society, Greenbrier Street, Charleston.

A service will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, October 2, at Hafer Funeral Home, Elkview. Burial will follow at the Hughart Family Cemetery, Aaron’s Fork Road.
